A the end of a trial, the successful party, having used the services of a lawyer, is entitled to a procedural indemnity according to the Article 1022 of the Judicial Code (called hereafter Jud. C.). This is a flat-rate compensation which includes the lawyer’s fees and costs that have to be paid by the unsuccessful party.
